Twin Creeks, July 2020 Nature Never Disappoints |
Seeking escape from summer heat.
To practice photography in shade or dappled sunlight.
California Bay Laurel and Big Leaf Maple trees line the creek.
White Alder too competes for sunlight.
And of course, lots of Poison Oak.
Weathered fencepost with bits of lichen embedded in it.
I like Big Leaf Maples the best.
Looking forward to seeing them change color.
Very soon the season will change.
Poison Oak will turn crimson.
It's damask rose and tan colors will light up the forest floor.
